Real Property Decal Information
A mobile home is considered real property when the owner of the mobile home is also the owner of the land on which the home is tied down and hooked up to normal and usual utilities. The owner of the real property can not choose to purchase a general decal. Original real property decals must be purchased in the county where the mobile home and property area located. A form DR 402 must be presented with the signature of the Property Appraiser or their agent at the time of the issuance of the real property decal. Each unit of the mobile home must have a decal issued. Real property decals are displayed in the lower left corner of the window of the mobile home that is closest to the street or road that provides access to the mobile home.
